In addition to the title of 'Survivor Winner', he won the R1milion prize money after surviving 27 days on an island in the Maldives. He received 7 votes from the jury made up of former tribe members as well as the viewers' vote.
A very emotional Hykie received his money with a smile and burst into tears shortly thereafter. Hykie also had to undergo surgery earlier this year after a tumor was discovered on his vocal chords.
Berg beat out 25-year-old biokineticist Letshego Moshoeu for the title. He is also the first man to win Survivor SA. Well Done Hykie!
